PDW 2015 is a premium learning event for

The Association of Public Sector Information
Professionals (DPI) has been offering exceptional
learning and development opportunities to public
sector IM/IT professionals for over 50 years! Once
again this year, DPI will be hosting its premier event
Professional Development Week 2015 (PDW 2015)
at the Ottawa Convention Centre from May 20-22,
2015. We have asked the IM/IT community what
was important to them and carefully crafted a 3-day
program that is sure to inspire everyone.
The theme this year is “Design Your Destiny, Live the
Change” and the focus is on People, Transformation
and Opportunities. At DPI we recognize that having

success. As technology continues to evolve and

PDW 2015
In just the last two years, you’ve seen the landscape of Information Management and
Information Technology (IM/IT) in government begin to change beyond changes of

What is PDW?
• Professional Development Week or PDW is the premier training event for IM/IT
Professionals where DPI delivers world-class training to our membership over a
three day period.
• Over 1,000 passes were sold last year and on average we sell 1,000 to 1,200
passes per year.
• Sessions cover a variety of topics from motivation, technical, soft skills, industry
trends, and public sector initiatives.
• The Gala Dinner is attended by over 300 members, including CIOs, and other IT
executives. The DPI Awards along with the CIOB IM/IT Community Recognition
Awards are presented at the dinner.
