Our second speaker will be Jill Kimble, manager of the Santa Ana disability Insurance office. Jill will provide
the latest updates on recent changes to the DI system and the various forms you will need. She will also
cover:
• Employer responsibilities related to Paid Family Leave and DI
• How to coordinate DI benefits with sick leave and vacation time
• Dealing with possible fraud issues
Brian Faulkner is the Presiding Administrative Law Judge for the Orange County Office of Appeals of the California
Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB). He is responsible for the management of CUIAB's hearing facilities in La
Palma and Santa Ana, where 13 administrative law judges conduct hearings on unemployment, disability, and employment tax
appeals daily. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in English from UCLA and his law degree from the University of San Diego.

Jill Kimble manages the EDD Santa Ana State
Disability Insurance (SDI) office. She has over 25 years
of disability insurance claims management experience.
She has held various lead and managerial positions
and has worked on several statewide and field office
projects within the Disability Insurance Branch. Jill
holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care
Management with a minor in Business Administration.
She is committed to delivering excellent customer
care.
