The Undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees to
release and hold harmless Pamela McMahon and Eagle Ridge Equestrian Center, LLC and all
associated therewith, including but not limited to staff,
volunteers and members of the show or facility grounds
fully harmless from any injury, claim or damage whatsoever
which may result to the participant, his or her horse
or property.

GENERAL SHOW RULES
1.SIGNATURE: Signature on entry denotes unconditional compliance and agreement
with the Eagle Ridge Equestrian Center, LLC Liability Release Statement below.
2.STALLIONS: Only Seniors (18+ years of age) may exhibit stallions.
3.CLASS CHANGES: Management reserves the right to cancel or combine any class
that does not adequately fill, or to charge pre-entry rates for classes not
adequately filled.
4. ENTRY DEADLINES: Post-entries will be accepted until four classes before the class
you wish to enter. Entries for the first four classes must be received before 8:30 a.m.
NO phone entries accepted. All entries must be received on the EREC entry form!!
5. NO REFUNDS: Unless the show is canceled by show management or you have a
veterinarian’s certificate.
6.GATE HOLDS: gate holds must be requested on a form that is available at the show
office at least four classes prior to the requested gate hold, and must be
approved by show management.
7.EQUITATION PATTERNS: Any required patterns will be posted the morning of the
show. Patterns will be created by the show judge, subject to approval by the
show management.
8. AWARDS: Awards to 1st place, ribbons to fifth place in all classes.
9. Champion and Reserve Champion will be given to both English and Western Seats in
2 levels W/T or W/T/C The championship classes will be determined by any rider
receiving either a 1st or 2nd place in either level rail class but no double entry. The
championship classes are free to qualifying riders.
10.
LEADLINE/WALK-TROT: Leadline will follow the printed class order. (Hopefully
around 12:30 pm). Walk-Trot shall also follow printed class order. Leadline
requires handler to be 18 years of age or over.
11.
REQUIRED ATTIRE: Grounds Rules state that boots must be worn in both arenas.
Junior exhibitors must wear helmets at all times when mounted on horse or pony –
regardless of seat ridden.
12.
NOVICE: Not to have won 3 blues in that seat.
13.
SADDLE/PLEASURE TYPE: Defined as Morgans, Arabs, Gaited Horses, etc.
14.
STOCK/HUNTER TYPE: Defined as AQHA, APHA, Appy's, TB’s, etc.
15.
GREEN HORSE: Defined as a horse that is in its first or second year of showing in
that particular discipline.
16.
WARM-UP ARENA: The warm-up arena is for warming up before classes – no
stopping or standing permitted.
17.
CONCESSIONS: Food and beverages (Hot dogs, Hamburgers, chips & Soda)
available for purchase at all shows.

INCENTIVE: As an incentive to exhibitors that Pre-Enter our shows, classes added
on show days will be available to them at Pre-Entry prices. Minimum of four
classes must be pre-entered to qualify for pre-entry prices on show day.
20.
OPEN CHECKS: All participants that pay with an open check will be charged at
minimum for four classes. Open checks will not be accepted for pre-entry.
21.
PRE-ENTRY RATE: Payment MUST accompany entry in order to qualify for prepayment rate.
22.
Multiple riders may use the same horse in different age groups.
23.
Any questions arising that are not covered shall be decided by show management
and all are final.
24.

25.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times. It is preferable if they remain at home or in
vehicles, as not all horses are comfortable with them.
