ELIGIBILITY: The Elkhart Art League is
pleased to announce the 2015 Annual Juried
Competition. Members and non-members may
enter any medium (painting, print, drawing,
photography, sculpture, ceramic, jewelry, etc.).
Each entrant may submit a limit of three (3)
works that must be original in concept and
execution, completed within the last 2 years, and
not previously exhibited in any show within 50
miles of Elkhart. NO class work, kits, crafts
molds, art reproduction, work from non-original
photographs, ads or other reference material not
created by the artist will be accepted.

FRAMING AND PRESENTATION
Work must be framed and must be wired for
hanging. Three-dimensional work should
be self-supporting. Works with improper
support will be automatically rejected.
RESPONSIBILITY
The Elkhart Art League will take all reasonable
care of submitted works but may not assume
responsibility for losses or damage.
SALE OF WORK
Unless otherwise specified, all work is for sale.
A 30% commission will be assessed on all work
sold*, a portion of which will go towards EAL
funding. The remainder will serve as gallery fees.
*No commission on cash awards.
REMOVAL OF ACCEPTED WORK
Accepted entries must remain for the duration of
the show. No early pick-ups. Pieces may be picked
up on Monday, June 15, from 12-5pm or
Tuesday, June 16, from 10am-2pm.
Pieces remaining after June 16 may become
the property of the Elkhart Art League.
UNACCEPTED WORK
Work not accepted for display may be picked up
during show hours on Fri/Sat/Sun [June 12-14],
or at pick-up times stated above.
JUDGE:
Damion Steele is a local photographer, graphic designer,
painter and multimedia artist, originally from Mishawaka.
Mr. Steele holds a BFA in Graphic Design and an MLS
from IUSB, and also formed the Art Guild of IUSB. His
participation in local exhibitions includes IU South Bend,
the Colfax Cultural Center and the Museum of Design
Zurich in Switzerland. His work is known for its bold
design, as well as social and political intensity.
