Welcome to American Education and Travel
Services! For over 10 years, we have provided
exciting programs throughout the USA. In our
programs, students strengthen English-speaking
skills, experience life on an American campus, and
visit some of the best cities and sites in the US.
We proudly welcome returning students and group
leaders each year. We know once students and
group leaders experience an AETS program, they
will want to see more of the USA with AETS.
For detailed descriptions of each location, please
request an Information Guide. Each guide
contains descriptions of the facilities, excursions,
maps and sample calendar of activities.
YOUTH SUMMER PROGRAMS INCLUDE

AETS offers several locations that are perfect pairings for split stay programs. The following locations work well together. The order of the stay can be reversed.

2015 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Allocations
Photos, Video
All allocations are held until a pre-arranged date. Should allocations not be met, AETS
reserves the right to charge the full fees for any unfulfilled places. No allocation is
guaranteed until a 30% deposit has been received and the bookings have been confirmed
by AETS in writing.
Students agree to allow photos and video taken during the program to be used for
publicity purposes.
Application
Each location has a Final Guarantee date. Once the Final Guarantee has been given to the
university, no refunds are permitted. Refer to Guarantees & Payment Schedule.
Each student must complete an application form. Completed forms should be faxed,
mailed, or sent by email to AETS fax number, address or email address. AETS will process
the booking and confirm your enrollment within 24 hours. An invoice based on the booking
will be generated within 24 hours.
Cancellations
Medical Insurance
All cancellations must be in writing to the AETS main office. Cancellations will incur a
penalty based on the following criteria:
Each student and group leader must have medical insurance. The Group Leader should
have in-hand all necessary medical documentation (Medical Release Statement signed
by parents, proof of insurance, medical history) for each student. Proof of insurance and
coverage must be presented prior to arrival.
Final Guarantee
• 31+ days prior to arrival - 25% of total fees (Except in Los Angeles, Chicago,
San Francisco, Ft. Lauderdale. See Guarantee Schedule)
• 16-30 days prior to arrival - 50% of total fees
• 0-15 days prior to arrival - 100% of total fees
Program Length
• 2 weeks = maximum 14 days/13 nights. Arrive Sunday, depart Saturday
• 3 weeks = maximum 21 days/20 nights. Arrive Sunday, depart Saturday
• 4 weeks = maximum 28 days/27 nights. Arrive Sunday, depart Saturday
Student Health & Liability
• If an applicant has been diagnosed with a contagious disease within 30 days prior to
arrival, the applicant is not eligible to participate in an AETS program.
• A participant that does not disclose a previously diagnosed contagious illness will be
responsible for any fees that leads to medical, legal, or university action.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to insure against cancellation, loss of deposit,
baggage and medical expenses.
Extra Nights
Extra nights will be charged on a pro rata basis based on the full net weekly price. No
discount will be given for staying fewer nights.
Arrival Deviations
AETS is under no obligation to replace any lessons “lost” due to groups or individuals
arriving weekdays.
Group Leaders
AETS offers one free leader per 15 paying students unless previously agreed. If ratio is
not reached, the cost of the leader will be prorated. Extra adults are not accepted without
written approval of AETS.
Unaccompanied Minor
Add $100 each way for students flying as unaccompanied minors.
Student Behavior
AETS reserves the right to remove any student from any center if the behavior is deemed
to be against the best interests of the program, unreasonable or unsociable behavior.
AETS will not be liable for any resulting costs. Termination forfeits 100% of payment.

Responsibility
Independent Transfers
Individuals not arriving/departing with group, add one way transfer $225 JFK, ORD, SFO,
MIA; $200 EWR, BOS, LAX.
Change of Flights
All bookings must be accompanied by accurate flight details. Any changes that are not
communicated to AETS at least 48 hours before arrival or departure will be liable for
additional charges to cover the cost of lost and changed transfers.
American Education and Travel Services, Inc. shall not be liable to the Client for any loss
or damages caused as a result of “force nature” such as strikes, wars, riots, fire, floods,
acts of God, or any other circumstances beyond American Education and Travel Services,
Inc.’s control; for any loss of profits or other consequential loss whether arising from
negligence or breach of contract; for acts of or omissions of independent suppliers (i.e.
coach companies, hotels, colleges) providing services or facilities as part of a package
offered by AETS; for lost, stolen or damaged items belonging to students.
Key /Damage Deposits
Law
AETS will require a $100 USD deposit from each student upon arrival. This will be
returned upon departure as long as no damage has been caused and all keys/swipe cards
have been returned.
The laws of California State shall govern the conditions and contract. Any controversy or
claim arising out of or relating to this contract or the obligations of the parties shall be
settled in Arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
The prevailing party shall be entitled to its costs and reasonable attorney fees.
Publicity Material
All publicity material is the responsibility of AETS and the details have been published in
good faith as of September 2014. AETS reserves the right to make amendments as and
when we see fit. Any changes will be communicated to the client wherever possible.
