Hello to all families,
Welcome back for Term 2. I hope everyone had a restful holiday and is ready for a very productive Term.
I would like to warmly welcome the many new families who have joined our school community. Welcome also
to Mrs Lou Carter who is covering Sean Whelan’s class while he is on Long Service Leave.
In May our Year 3 and 5 students will participate in NAPLAN testing. Further information will come home to
parents soon.
There are many excursions coming up in May. Please check the calendar each week to ensure your children are
prepared for class events.
Our new social skills focus is to ‘Be a Clean Machine’. We are encouraging children to keep their workspace,
their classroom and our school grounds clean and to take care of their personal hygeine.
We have some children travelling to Launceston to the State Inter-Primary Athletics Carnival. We wish them all
the very best of luck.
We are pleased to have our AFS exchange student, Guada, back with us this term and thank the Whelan family
for being her host family.
Kind Regards
Tracey Johnston
