Student Announcements Tuesday May 12, 2015
Students: Are you taking your first AP class next year? Have you taken an AP course before but would like to
improve next time around? Or would you just like to learn more about what an AP course involves? If so, there is a
new three-week, half-day opportunity from June 1 to June 18. You can attend at either Palo Verde, Pueblo, Rincon,
Sahuaro, or Tucson High School, it’s FREE, and free breakfast and lunch are available. There will be a field trips to
the U of A. free classroom supplies to support your class performance next year, and you will learn strategies to help
you to do you best in all you classes. It’s called AP Summer Boot Camp and we’d love to see you there. Please see
Ms. Arvayo in M126 for a flyer and registration form.
There will be an informational meeting for anyone who is interested in running cross country next year. The
meeting will take place in T-362 during conference on Wednesday May 13th. If you can not make this meeting please
see Coach Lizarribar in T-362 sometime this week. This will be a short and quick meeting.
Seniors please remember that the senior check out forms will be available in the counseling office from May 11th –
May 15th. All forms need to be compete and return to V114 in order to receive the wrist band for the senior carnival.
If you have lost any items throughout the year, please come by and let us help you check the lost and found area in
V114 before school, during lunch time, or after school. On Thurs., May 14th, we will put this years’ lost and found
items in the hallway outside of V114 for display and general distribution. Thank you.
Summer school information and registration has been updated and is now available in the Counseling Office
and on our website. Registration is during conference periods in the cafeteria.
Come cheer on your Tucson High Baseball team in the semifinals of the state tournament this Thursday, May 14th
@ Hi Corbett with a start time of 6:30pm against CDO High School, the winner will advance to the State
Championship Game. GO BADGERS!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Tucson High Boys Track and Field Team 2nd place with 52 points Division 1 State
Meet Championships. The highest finish in 3 decades. Also congratulations to all our athletes:
