Here you will find information about each of our courses, so you can choose the best one for you. Egerton Consulting has been running courses in Reliability Engineering and Statistical Science for over 10 years. During this time we have fine-tuned our courses based on feedback from our delegates to ensure you receive the best training possible. In addition, we operate a Quality Management System which has been ISO 9001:2008 certified, so you have the assurance of our commitment to providing a service of quality. Our courses are designed to not only enhance your skills, but also to provide a competitive advantage to your organisation. Training sessions are structured to stimulate discussion and give you the opportunity to explore areas that are relevant to your workplace. This flexibility also enables us to address any issues that arise during the training sessions themselves. Our course presenters are practising consultants who have many years’ experience of applying the techniques they teach, so rather than taking away just theory, you’ll have a practical understanding of the principles and how they can be used to address the challenges you face on a day-to-day basis. This is supported with many real-life examples as well as practical exercises. We also believe that an appreciation of the ideas and philosophy underlying each of the techniques is fundamental to gaining understanding, so this is a core part of our training. You will be given a set of comprehensive course notes at the beginning of your course, as well as copies of the presentations. This means you can review the course material and refresh your knowledge days, weeks or even months later. And while you gain confidence in applying the techniques you have learnt, we offer ongoing help and support with half a day’s free consultancy advice included in your course fee. If you have little or no experience, we recommend that you attend our Introduction to Reliability Engineering course, which we run twice a year, before moving on to other more specialised subject areas. Please feel free to contact us if there is anything you want to discuss, or if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you. Amanda and Martin Egerton 1 Open and In-Company Training We run a programme of open courses throughout the year. Our open courses are ideal if you are looking to train just one or two people from your organisation in a particular subject area. We always encourage discussion around each delegate’s particular workplace challenges, ensuring a practical understanding of the techniques. We also offer a discount if you wish to make a booking for two or more delegates on any one of our open courses – the second and each additional delegate will receive a 20% discount. With us you can make your training plans with confidence. If we have accepted a booking for a course, our policy is to run it – we will never cancel or postpone a course because of low numbers, so you won’t be disappointed. To ensure personal attention and interactive discussion, we limit numbers on our open courses to a maximum of eight delegates. All of our open courses are currently held in the Swindon area either at a conference venue or, for smaller groups, at our own training facility in the nearby village of Minety. Places on open courses can be booked in any of four ways: 1. 2. 3. 4.
