In addition to dining, visitors can enjoy picking blueberries cultivated without the use of pesticides. Visit the shop for bread made only with flour of domestically grown wheat, salt, water and natural yeast. Jams handmade from blueberries and seasonal fruits, blueberry seedlings and herb seedlings are also sold. If you wish to take part in this activity, please enquire beforehand. Makino Pic-land is a farm park where visitors can enjoy harvesting the bounty of the season. In one of few such facilities in the Kansai region, visitors can pick fruits and vegetables of various seasons, starting with cherries in early summer, blueberries, grapes, chestnuts, sweet potatoes and then apples. Other offerings include ground golf (a low-key version of regular golf), a restaurant with a barbecue terrace, and turfed recreational space. Hand-made gelato ice creams and souvenirs are also sold.
