RAF CRANWELL RIDE

Endurance GB (Lindum Group) is very happy to host this event as a three-day fixture once
again this year from the excellent venue facilities of RAF Cranwell.
We welcome Heather and Howard Burchnall of Emerald Green Feeds at Bardney Dairies
who are sponsoring prizes for major and multi-day classes.
The venue is situated just off the A17 giving an easy route from the east and from the A1,
North and South, being approx. 12 miles east of Newark.
The route, ridden in alternate directions on alternate days, will be over much of Ermine
Street Roman road/track, linked by other good bridleways and quiet lanes with wide rideable
verges.
There are plenty of parking and camping and good corralling facilities. Added to this are
basic but ample showers and toilets.
Camping and corralling are available from Friday through to Monday.
Arrive after 16:00 Friday and depart by 15:00 on Monday.

£15 deposit is to be paid on arrival. This will be refunded on departure if your corral is
clean. Alternatively, you may ask the corralling steward to clean it for you.
A £2 charge per rider will be made for the use of RAF facilities, payable on arrival,
regardless of the number of days you are riding.
All vetting will be at the southern end of the site.
There will be prizes in kind for the CERs and the multi-day GER classes. In addition
there will be multi-day completion rosettes for all horses completing 2 or 3 days in any
class.

Class lengths may vary from these if local conditions dictate.
This year there will be a marquee for the secretary, briefings and for social use.
Daytime catering will be on site from pre-start on Saturday, finishing at 18.00 daily, and until
Monday post ride.
There will be a buffet meal in the marquee on Saturday night, dessert included. Please bring
your own drinks, glasses and chairs.
We ask you for a donation of £8 per person for this. Book and pay with your entry on the
form provided with this schedule.
(The entry fees for the multi-day Competitive and Graded Endurance Ride classes
automatically include 1 free ticket to this event.)
