REN Summer Fellowship Program
The REN Summer Fellowship is awarded to outstanding students who have demonstrated
exceptional ability and commitment in renewable energy science, technology, economics,
business, policy or other renewable-energy related fields. The fellowship program provides
students the opportunity to gain experience and skills in a professional environment.
Awards range from $5,000-$10,000. Students must secure a summer opportunity with a
Federal research lab, industrial organization or NGO involved with issues of sustainable
and renewable energy in the US or abroad. The application deadline is February 28, 2015

ExxonMobil LOFT Fellowship
ExxonMobil has partnered with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) to create
fellowships in STEM fields for Hispanic college students. Through HHF's Latinos On Fast
Track (LOFT) program, ExxonMobil seeks to nurture motivated college students with a
passion for engineering and science. Selected students will be exposed to a top-quality
company by participating in this mentoring program. Each student will be paired with an
ExxonMobil engineer/scientist to learn how their knowledge is applied in a corporate
setting. The fellowship includes a $1,000 educational grant and the possibility to interview
for ExxonMobil positions upon successful fellowship completion. The opportunity will close

AZ Water Association Scholarships
The Arizona Water Association Young Professionals Committee is offering up to $12,000
in scholarships ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars available to Arizona
students seeking a graduate degree. Applications are due by March 31, 2015. >> more
Heatwaves NSF/GK-12 Fellowship Program
The goal of this project is to bring innovative research in water and energy resources to
junior/senior high school classrooms. Fellows co-teach with one 6th-12th grade teacher for
15 hours/week. Fellows benefit by increasing written and oral communication skills while
enlightening and encouraging youth in engineering science. The program is open to
graduate students in any engineering discipline. The fellowship includes a stipend of
$15,000 and Fall tuition (fees not included). Applications are due by March 23, 2015.

AZ Water Assoc. Student Poster Competition
The Arizona Water Association Young Professionals Committee Student Poster
Competition is a great way to network with professionals in the water and wastewater
industry. Present your design/research project for a chance to win cash prizes. First place
is $250; second place is $150 and third place is $100. A 200-word abstract is required the deadline for abstracts is March 20, 2015. Submit your abstract for approval to Nashita

Arizona Floodplain Management Association Scholarship
The Arizona Floodplain Management Association (AFMA) is awarding scholarships to
graduate students in civil engineering and related fields. The awards are for $2,000, to be
disbursed as $1,000 in Fall semester and $1,000 in Spring semester. The deadline for

EREF Scholarship Program
The Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF) is one of the largest
sources of solid waste research funding in the US. Applications for the 2015-16 academic
year are now available. Eligibility requirements are that the student is or will be this year a
full -time master's student, doctoral student, or post-doctoral researcher and must have a
clearly demonstrated interest in solid waste management research. Doctoral and
post-doctoral scholarships are awarded up to $5,000/year and master's scholarships are
awarded up to $5,000/year. The deadline is May 1, 2015 at 5:00 PM (EST). >> more
