Dear colleagues!
Every year bright young scientists gather at the International Natural Sciences
Tournament every year collects bright young scientists to generate new scientific ideas and
stand up for their own ideas during dynamic scientific polemics. The Tournament helps to form
collaborations between participants, scientific experts and industry.
International Natural Sciences Tournament (INST) is a team competition for current
undergraduate, Master’s students, and students graduating in 2015. Students should be studying
one of the following specializations: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Medicine, Pharmaceuticals
or Engineering. The main goal of the competition is teaching students how to apply their
knowledge to solve current practical scientific and industrial problems.
The Tournament attracts new participants from different countries for every year since
2010. In 2014 we received participants and guests from India, Indonesia, Iran, Sweden,
Macedonia, Belarus and Russia. We will be glad if your university can gather a team of 3 to 5
people to participate in the Tournament. The language of the tournament is English.
The Tournament consists of extramural (1st) and intramural (2nd) rounds. To participate in
the intramural round we need to perform selection. We ask teams which need visa to come to
Saint-Petersburg to send solutions of extramural round problems until June 25, 2015
