SME INDUSTRIAL PARK
SURVEY 2015
In line with the Government Programme 2015-2019 to promote SMEs as the main engine of growth,
Government has announced the construction of industrial parks for SMEs in various parts of the
country. Subsequently, 100 Arpents have been earmarked under the MSPA-Government deal.
The State Land Development Co. Ltd has so far constructed three SME Industrial Parks at L’Abattoir
Road Port Louis, La Tour Koenig, and La Valette, Bambous.
Potential sites for future SME Parks have been identified at the following regions :






Vuillemin, Quartier Militaire
Plaine Magnien
Petit Bois, Caroline, Bel Air
Solitude, Triolet
Chebel, Beau Bassin
Henrietta, Vacoas





Gokhoola, Riviere du Rempart
Case Noyale
Bambous
Cité La Cure, Port Louis
Wooton, Curepipe
The Ministry of Business, Enterprise and Cooperatives in collaboration with SMEDA is carrying out a survey
to identify the needs of SMEs for the setting up of SME Industrial Parks.
Main objectives of the survey



Assess interest of SMEs for the identified sites
Determine the profile of SMEs seeking industrial space
Explore the possibility of providing site and services to SMEs
Interested SMEs are invited to participate in the survey by filling the survey form available at
www.smeda.mu
