Leather Jackets
Thread and zip recommendations for leather jackets
Garments made from leather place particular demands on the sewing
threads used to create the seams. Coats provides a range of continuous
filament, corespun and spun sewing threads with a range of special
finishes which are designed to deliver excellent seam appearance and
performance in leather garments.
These recommendations are for illustrative purposes only and the thread
substrate size, needle size and stitch rating will vary depending on the
weight and grade of leather being used.
Alternative thread types may be used depending on required final quality.
The thread size will determine the choice of needle size.
