Handmade Nativity Set (age 14+)

In this three day art workshop, students will construct a
complete Nativity set using basic hand building techniques
with emphasis on texture. The nine-piece set will include
Mary, Baby Jesus, Joseph, two lambs, one large animal of
your choice and three Wise men. After the pieces are fired,
black acrylic paint will be applied and the metallic Rub n
Buff will be layered on using a dry brush technique to
enhance the texture. Your set will be ready to take home at
the end of the third class. A great class for a family to

nude model for at least one class. Students should bring their

is fired in a kiln or with a torch, burning away the organic binder
from the alloy of tin and copper (11%/89%) which creates the
bronze. Make house numbers, jewelry like a musical charm
bracelet, custom tools for crafting, almost whatever you desire!
Instructor will have extra bonze clay to purchase for more projects
or bring your own. Basic tool kit can be assembled from articles

Watercolor 101 (age 16+)
Basic watercolor techniques and brush skills for beginning artists
will be taught through a systematic step-by-step approach with
each class building on the previous lesson. It is important that
students try to attend all classes. Students can expect to learn the
application of the following: brushwork techniques, color and
mixing, creating clear washes and composition. Application of
these basics will begin a journey with watercolor that will give you
pleasure for a lifetime.

will learn what it means to see through your lens and how to

learn simple improv games, developing characters and learning the
guidelines to make you look like a professional. Students will learn
and perform a children’s play for friends and family at the end of the
