Material Description: Rubber hose of 6 Meter in Length for decanting of oil from Road Tankers as per the
Drawing no: CM/MMI/BMIII/FOPH/001/04 and Specification confirming to IS 10733/1983.

Specification: Electrically bonded, rail & road tanker, neoprene, oil suction & discharge hoses for handling
HFO and LDO, rough bore of light weight and good flexibility with internal and external wire
reinforcement, corrugated outer cover conforming to IS: 10733/ 1983 type suitable for a working pressure
of the medium ranging from a vacuum of 28 inches of mercury to 3 kg/ sq. cm and capable of handling
steam at a working Pressure of not less than 4 Kg/ sq. cm as its saturation temperature. Electrical
continuity by inner wire bonded to the fitting at both ends. Neoprene rubber for outer lining and
Acrlonitrile rubber for inner lining and with flange at one end and Male threaded Nipple at other end as per
Drawing. Test Pressure: 7 Kg/ Sq.cm Total length of rubber hose: 6 Meter (Flange to Male threaded
Nipple). Flange: Built in type moulded flange. Major Dia: 186 mm Minor Dia: 80 mm PCD : 150 mm
Hole Dia: 19 mm No. of Holes: 4 ( 4 holes of 90 Deg. Each) Male Threaded Nipple: Dia of pipe: 80 mm
Dia of thread: 87 mm Pitch: 11 TPI Flange and Male threaded Nipple have to be vulcanized at both ends.
