pendant. Using borosilicate clear and colored glass rod

Learn to make an alien murinni cane out of borosilicate
glass. You will learn the basic on how to construct, heat,
cap and pull an alien head boro milli. Some lampworking skills required.

Come add sparkle to your glass! Learn to make these
gorgeous dichroic so* glass beads. Techniques include
layering and application of flat strip dichroic. Some

Learn to make fashionable glass chain links out of
borosilicate clear glass. Techniques included are using
punty handles and proper welding. Demos as well as

Learn to work with borosilicate glass making colorful
beads. In this fun filled class we will explore the
borosilicate color palette. We will learn how to properly
heat, wrap, strike and encase boro colors for beautiful
explosions of color in your beads! Beginner lampworking skills required.

marbles using borosilicate glass. Focus on outside designs and shaping are covered in this mini class. Beginner skills required.
Twisties and Latticino Canes

This educational class focuses on various lampworked
canes. Learn canes types such as rainbow canes, milk
swirls, double spiral helix, white lace and traditional
venetian latticinos. Don’t miss out on this fast paced,
fun filled class! Beginner lampworking skills required.
Beginner Glass Blowing Part 1 - Lance McRorie
Sep 13 Sat 10-5 Fee: $200.00
Come learn the basics of glass blowing at the torch.
Using a GTT phantom torch and clear borosilicate tubing you will learn to manipulate glass in the torch
flame, which is also known as flameworking. From
there you will learn to blow out ornaments, jars and a
small bottle. Lecture includes, safety instruction, flame
adjustments, heat control and proper hand positions.
Each student will learn to use all the necessary tools for
glassblowing; such as, cup shears, diamond shears, flaring tools, tweezers and punty. Instructor demos with
plenty of hands on practice make up this fun filled class.
This class encompasses manipulating hollow shapes
and forms. No glass blowing skill required. Beginners
Welcome!
Hot Spot - Frog
Sep 17 Wed 6-8pm Fee: $50.00
Learn how to sculpture an adorable boro glass frog in
this two hour mini class. Some lampworking skills required.
The Human Form - Lance McRorie
Sep 20 Sat 12-4pm Fee: $100.00
Learn to sculpt human figurines out of soft glass using
Italian style techniques. I will be teaching how to
sculpt the human form in the Venetian style step by
step, “by the numbers” with the soft soda lime Italian
Moretti glass. Learn how to bring the heat gradient
through the glass in a forward moving fashion to build
large lampworked sculpture. Some lampworking skills
required.
Introduction To Glass Blown Ornaments
Sep 24 Wed 6-8pm Fee: $50.00
Come join the fun in this holiday ornament class. Using
clear borosilicate glass tubes, learn to blow glass into
round and squatty shapes. You will also add colored frit
inside each bubble to give it that holiday zest! No experience necessary. All beginners welcome.
Blown Glass Pumpkin
Sep 25 Thu 6-8pm Fee: $50.00
It’s time to harvest our holiday pumpkins! Learn to
make stunning blown glass pumkins with borosilicate
tube and colored frit. Introduction to Ornaments or
basic blowing skills required.

FlameTree Glass,Inc. is a three in one business. We sell glass
art from beautiful handmade glass beads, pendants, blown
glass to sculptures and jewelry. We sell glassblowing supplies such as glass rod and tubing, tools, torches, books and
videos. We also have a state of the art glass blowing facility,
offering workshops from beginner to advanced skill levels.
FlameTree Glass, Inc. Workshops
We have been busy scheduling the very best lampwork
instructors from across the country. These classes are already starting to fill. If you see something you are interested in please give us a call. Must be at least 18 years of
age to attend lampwork classes at FlameTree Glass, Inc. No
one under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be allowed
to attend class. All glass, tools, kilns, torches and eyewear
are included in the price of the workshops unless specified.
Please be sure to read over our cancellation policies and
procedures before you sign up. We look forward to seeing

Workshop Cancellation Policy
If it becomes necessary for FlameTree Glass to cancel a
workshop for any reason, a full refund will be given or store
credit, which includes classes or merchandise. All withdrawals from workshops must be in writing, faxed or
emailed. A refund or store credit will be offered if notice of
withdrawal is given 30 days prior to commencement of
workshop. A $25.00 withdrawal fee will apply. There will
be 50% refund given to withdrawals with less than a 30
days notice, due to our financial obligations to our instructors. All cancellations will be refunded as checks. If it becomes necessary for FlameTree Glass to post- pone a workshop due to inclement weather or other reasons deemed
legitimate, you will be notified of the rescheduling or if unable to attend a full refund will be given. We are not responsible for non-refundable tickets including transportation and lodging or any other expenses in the event of a
cancelled or rescheduled workshop.
Payment of workshop in full is required to hold your space.
