According to the latest INDECI reports (as of 6 April 2015), more than 155 000 people were affected and 43 people were killed across the country. According to media, the ash reached an area of at least 15 km from the Volcano in the south-east direction, including the nearby villages of Escacha and Ubinas Valley.
