5 June, Friday:
Foil, Sabre, Epee (m/f) under 11 (born 2004 and younger)
Foil (m/f) under 15 (born 2000 and younger)
6 June, Saturday:
Foil, Sabre, Epee (m/f) under 13 (born 2002 and younger)
7 June, Sunday:
Foil, Sabre, Epee (m/f) cadets (born 1998 and younger)
Licenses: Not required
Registration: The fencing clubs have to send the entries, modifications and cancellations till 25-th of May, 2015 via
e-mail: [email protected]
Entry fee: For a single starter 20 BGN or 10 €; for two starts 30 BGN or 15 €; for three starts 40 BGN or 20 euro.
Referee: Each club has to nominate one (1) referee per every four (4) competitors in each competition or pay 50
euro fee per 1 referee.
Mode: According to the rules of FIE.
*Conductive bib for foil is NOT mandatory for children under 11, 13 and 15 years. Conductive bibs are mandatory for
cadets only.
Equipment control: weapons, body wires, foil and sabre vests and conductive bibs (for cadets) will be checked.
Equipment control will take place in the fencing hall on Friday (5-th of June 2015), 2 hours before start of
competition and from 16:00 till 20:00 pm. in Saturday (6-th June 2015).
Rules for children under 11:
-
pools- 5 touches, 3 minutes
direct elimination– 10 touches, 3 x 2 minutes
blades– Benjamins (under 11 years) 0 or 2
Rules for other categories:
-
pools- 5 touches, 3 minutes
direct elimination– 15 touches, 3 x 3 minutes
blades for children under 13 years - 2 or 5; for Cadets - all types of blades are authorized: Maraging
blades are not required.
Directoire Technique:
All disputes will be decided by a Directoire Technique, which will be constituted the day of the competition. The
organisers take no responsibility for any accidents, thefts or lose which the competitors or spectators may suffer.
The organisers reserve the right to modify the formula or program according to the number of competitors. By
entering the competition, competitors are deemed to have accepted these rules and all measures which may arise
from them.
Accommodation:
We have arranged special discounts at hotels in Sofia for tournament competitors and accompanying persons.
We will send more details till the end of April.
