REMEMBER, we have a regular parade night on June 8th, but you don’t wear your uniform. You will be dismissed at 9:00 p.m 2. Summer Saskadet this weekend. For the 45 cadets who have signed permission slips – we meet at the Armouries on Friday, June 5th at 0730-0745. Bus will be leaving at 8am exactly. Bring a lunch and be prepared for lots of fun. 3. Volunteer opportunity- The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Regina branch, is looking for volunteers to help them set up for their Annual Walk on Sunday, 14th June. This is a great opportunity to get out in the community (and perhaps rack up some community service hours as well). Set up will take place on Sunday, 14 June at the Senior Centre near the Neill Balkwill Centre on Elphinstone Street and 15th Avenue – starting at 7:30 in the morning. The event is pretty much over by 1:30 in the afternoon. This is just south of the Armouries a few blocks. In the past many of our cadets have assisted the Kidney Foundation with setting up chairs, signage along the walk, handing out food and water to the walkers, and other odd jobs. Saxby will be taking names of those cadets who wish to be involved in the flag party at Roughrider home games this season.
