About Ethan.
Ethan Bender Is a professional
photographer working out of the greater
Toronto area. At a young age Ethan found
his passion for the art of photography.
He placed at Skills Ontario as a student
and achieved red seal certification and a
number of awards for photography. Ethan
has spent the last few years working in the
industry while studying at Sheridan Institute
of Advanced Technology and Learning
feedback, a partnership was
formed.
The Story.

create something that would not
just add to the noise but that could

The Main Street Project
was originally created by
Ethan Bender as a personal,
community-driven project. Born
from his passion for visual
detail, the idea started as a
way to create content for his
personal portfolio while at the
same time giving back to the
community.
The plan was simple. Ethan
would approach businesses and
offer to do an environmental
portrait of the owner or a main/
key employee and give the
business the photograph gratis.
After shooting only two images,
Ethan realized that the project
could be so much more. Ethan
reached out to the Town of
Hanover for support to see if
they would be interested in
collaborating on the project.
After some very positive
We are proud to announce that
we will be continuing the project
on a larger scale by offering
this opportunity to as many
small businesses in Hanover
as possible. We will be booking
these shoots through the Town
of Hanover and hosting a
gallery event at the conclusion
of the project at which point the
images will be donated to the
town. If you have any questions,

optimum uses of technology to enhance
his creative vision. Crafted with light and
all shot in camera, Ethan works to achieve
texture and atmosphere with limited editing
to create vital images that encapsulate a
moment in time.
