Narberth
Kick-off your Christmas
feeling
by
visiting
Narberth Winter Carnival
on Saturday, December 3.
There’s always a great
atmosphere on Carnival
Day in Narberth, so why
not spend the whole day in
town.
Christmas carols will set
the scene at 12.30 pm by
the Town Hall, Santa will
be in his grotto from 1 pm
in Water Street and the
children can get the party
started from 3 pm at the
disco in the RAOB Club.
And, of course, you can
always start (or finish)
your Christmas shopping,
with the added bonus of
free parking at the Town
Moor car park all day.
This year’s two-lap
parade will be starting at
the earlier time of 5.30 pm.
Narberth’s new town
crier, Ceri Barnes, will
lead the parade, along with
Santa and the 2011 Snow
Queen, Shannon Morgan.
Accompanying the carnival entrants will be the
ever-popular Samba Doc
and
the
entertaining
Westside Allstars Comedy
Band. As a great one-off
opportunity, the comedy
band are offering local
people the chance to join
them in this year’s parade.
