A.M.P. Leadership Summit

Get ready to POWER UP! Plan to be a part of the A.M.P. Leadership Summit to be held on September 24-27, 2015 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 5685 Falls
Avenue, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6W7.
Who is expected to attend? All Adventurer, Pathfinder, and Master Guide
leaders and staff, Teen Leadership Trainees (TLTs), Master Guide Trainees
(MGTs), pastors, and interested church leaders who are passionate about
A.M.P. ministries.
What benefits will I get from attending? Aside from learning how to
minister to millennial children/youth effectively, you will get credits toward
your MG recertification, AYMT, or ALG requirements (only whatever applies).
What is the cost to attend? Below you will find the rate/person with
deadline schedule. This fee is inclusive of 3 lunches (i.e., Friday, Sabbath and
Sunday noon), admission to seminars, handouts, 1 copy of AMP yearbook,
and a giveaway item. Hotel accommodation is extra.
* Early Registration Rate = $99.90 ( until June 30, 2015)
* Regular Registration = $132.50 (July 1-30, 2015)
* Late Registration = $145.00 ( August 1-27, 2015)
Deadline of Registration: August 27, 2015.
Is there a refund if I cancel my registration? Yes, if request for cancellation and refund is done in writing or through email on or before August
27, 2015 - and this will be subject to a 20 % administrative fee. Beyond the
deadline, NO cancellation and refund will be granted. Just ask somebody to
replace you.
What about accommodation? Accommodation cost is extra. Choose your

About the Guest Speaker
Gilbert was born of missionary parents in the Seychelles Islands. He
grew up in Mauritius with his six brothers and sisters and joined the
Merchant Navy as a cadet officer after his high school years. He gave
his heart to Jesus while still at sea in December 1975 and came back
home to Mauritius where he got inovlved in his local church as the
youth leader. Gilbert followed his childhood sweetheart Rosemay to
Australia in 1981 where they were married. They have two children:
Joel and Emilie.
Gilbert graduated from Avondale College in 1987 and pastored in
the state of Victoria for six years before being called to be Youth Director in Sydney in 1993. In 1999, he was appointed as the Director
for Youth Ministries for the South Pacific Division. In 2009, he asked
for a change to pastor a local church in Sydney, from where he was
called to be the General Conference Youth Director in 2010. Gilbert
obtained a Masters in Youth Ministry from La Sierra University in
1997 and is currently working on a Doctoral program.
He has an interest in all sports, particularly soccer, and loves music.
His dream is to see youth take hold of the mission of the church and
stand up as a global movement for Jesus to bring hope and meaning
to our hopeless world. One of Gilbert's favorite Bible verses is found
in 1 Timothy 4:12, "And don't let anyone put you down because
you're young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanors,
by love, by faith, by integrity" (The Message).
