Job Title: Electrical Journeyman Job Type: Full Time w/Benefits Location: Lindsay, Ontario, and project sites within Ontario Job Description: Evergreen Power Ltd is actively seeking an Electrical Journeyman to complete commercial roof mount and industrial ground mount Solar PV projects. Evergreen Power’s Journeyman Electricians are responsible for the efficient organization of material, labour and equipment/tools during a project and will report to the directly to the Construction Manager. Journeymen will be responsible for interpreting electrical plans, installing equipment and wire per the Ontario Electrical Code, performance testing, final quality inspection and documentation. Overnight travel during the week will be required to job sites in various locations around Ontario. A demonstrated interest in the renewable energy industry is an asset. Requirements:                Valid Electrical C of Q License to work in Ontario Ability to interpret and create single line electrical drawings Self-starter with excellent time management skills Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices Experience in renewable energy installations Excellent communication skills Good customer relations skills Professional manner on the job site Ability to apply judgment Excellent problem solving skills Detail orientated Works well with others; able to work independently Valid “G” driver’s license Must provide own safety boots, outdoor work wear, and normal hand tools Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs Due to the geographic location of projects, overnights during weekdays are regularly required.
