Chief Patient Experience Officer
Working across three partner organizations serving the diverse, growing
communities of the Central West region of Ontario, the Chief Patient Experience
Officer for Central West Community Care Access Centre, Headwaters Health
Care Centre, and William Osler Health System will develop innovative strategies
to revolutionize patient experience for 1.3 million people. In this newly-created
cross-sectoral role, the CPEO will implement a leading approach to patient
experience across the acute and home care sectors, in a model which is a first of
its kind in Ontario.
Reporting to the Vice President, Patient Experience, Communications and
Strategy, you will engage with physicians, clinical and support staff, volunteers,
patient stakeholder groups, and community health care partners to design and
implement a patient experience strategy. Using a systems approach to tracking,
reporting, and assessment, you will focus on transitions in care across the health
care continuum, embedding patient experience in clinical systems and practices.
Championing process innovation, you will promote a culture of patient- and
family-centered care, while emphasizing outstanding service and compassion to
achieve the best clinical outcomes.

and best practices, you are a systems thinker who has delivered results in
large, complex organizations serving diverse populations. An extraordinary
communicator and team player, with high emotional intelligence, you inspire
