The Surface mounted kit has been designed to
surface mount the Razor-Ledfire recessed
fittings
This fitting can be used in conjuction with the
Rodmount kit or give the fitting the option of
chain mounting
Environmental Consequences of Cadmium
NiCd batteries contain cadmium, which is a
toxic heavy metal and requires special care
during battery disposal.
The sale of nickel-cadmium batteries has now
been banned within the European Union except
specialist used including emergency lighting.
Under the same EU directive, used industrial
nickel-cadmium batteries must be collected by
their producers in order to be recycled in
dedicated facilities.
Cadmium, being a heavy metal, can cause
substantial pollution when landfilled or
incinerated.
