to help organize labor strikes in
British Guiana in 1962 and 1963
when Marxist Dr. Cheddi Jagan
was premier.
Robert Hastings, executive

County and Municipal Employes, told UPI that up to
$60,000 a year in CIA funds was
channeled
to the union through

For some of that period, the
union's leaders at the time
knew the source of the money
and decided to use it anyway,
he said.
The exposure of numerous

meantime, caused a House panel
