Get out your calendar and a cup of coffee and start planning your last days of
winter. We have so many projects for you to get involved with that the grass
will be green before you know it!
I Can Sew Kids Class Series
For young sewers ages 9 & up.
Learn to sew kid friendly projects including headbands, backpacks, pillows and more.
Class meets the first Saturday of March, April
and May from 10-12:30.
Cost is $10.00 per session plus cost of supplies.
Students will need to purchase the book "I Can Sew" by Annie.
Scrap Lover’s Club.
We added a second session from 1-2.
Pre-registration required.
Scrap lovers meets monthly on the 4th Saturday or each
month. This is a demo class filled with techniques,
ideas and patterns for a different scrap quilt or scrap
project each month. Club members are encouraged to
bring projects they are working on to inspire us during
the Show & Tell part of the meeting. We guarantee
you'll leave inspired to go home and dig in those scraps and start a new
project. Don't worry if you don't have scraps - we'll help you build up a
stash! Scrap Lovers Club is the best bargain in town - only $25 for 10 sessions. If you can't make it on club day stop in and pick up your pattern at a later
date.
4th Sat. of each month: March 28, Apr. 25, No class in May, June 27 …
You get the idea.
Class does not meet in May or November. Christmas class December 5.
Wool Club Starting 1st Wed of each month.
1st meeting is Wednesday, April 1, 10-12.
Come join a group of wool fans to share ideas, learn at
least one new stitch a month, and get inspired by each
other. Bring a wool project you are working on and get
help if needed or we can help you start something new.
All projects are a separate cost from class fee.
Cost: $25 for 6 months. If you can’t make it to
class, stop in and pick up the pattern for the month.
Open Sew With Help from Joanne and Talei at Tacconelli’s
Banquet Room
Do you have a project that you are stuck on? Do you want to start a
new project but, are not sure how to begin? Do
you have questions about a machine embroidery
project, what stabilizer to use or how to hoop a
project? Or do you just need to get out of the
house and sew in an fun environment with sewing
friends. Talei and Joanne will be on hand to give individualized help during these open sew days.
Held in Tacconelli’s banquet room on the following days.

Iced Tea is a lap size quilt that is EASY! Grab a layer cake or fat quarters and join us for a day of fun. You may even go home with a finished
quilt top. The shop sample is made with a flannel Woolies layer cake.

Sew Together Bag with Joanne Kuula
Do you love Sewing Together with your friends, but can't
keep up with all the notions you brought?
The Sew Together Bag is a niffty little bag with three zippered
pockets, four open pockets, a pincushion and a great little
needle landing all held together by a zipper that forms two
handles.
This bag will easily hold your 8" scissors, rotary cutter, marking pencils, seam ripper, extra needles, thread, snippers, and
much more. It will amaze you how much you can hold in this
fun and compact bag. Precutting required before class.

“Spring in the Pines” placemat/runner
with Susan Fetter Ward
Learn the process of easy, accurate half square triangles while creating a springtime runner or placemat set. Using joined bias strips,
elongated triangles are transformed into easy to use squares and
rectangles. Whether you are familiar with the Common Bias Cutting
Guides, or are new to the process, you will appreciate the nice
sharp points produced with this easy to use template set. Options
for altering the design will be included as well as construction variations.
Template required for class.
Monday, March 23, 10-4. Class Fee: $35.00.
Beginning Quilt Making with Talei Robinson
This class is designed to give you all that is needed to begin machine
piecing. Learn the tools, cutting techniques, quick piecing and traditional piecing techniques. All of this while creating this 4 block sampler. Expect to have a great time.
3 sessions. Thursdays: March 26, April 2, and April 23, 10-4.
Class Fee: $60 includes pattern.
Supplies are purchased separately.
Crayon Tinting and Hand Embroidery Techniques with
Sue Nezworski
This pattern was designed with teaching stitchery in mind. A little bit of
color crayon tinting and several basic stitches will give you the information
you need to move on to other crayon tinted designs. Many of you were
able to enjoy Sue Nezworski’s crayon tinted Halloween quilts. In this class
she is going to share with you tips that she has learned along the way.

Dresden Plate Wall hanging with Susan Kangas
Have you noticed how many quilt magazines have Dresden Plate
projects in them? They are everywhere. Come join us for a day of
fun exploring the Dresden Plate. We’ll show you how easy it is to
make a Dresden Plate. You can stop at one plate to use for a pillow
or table topper or continue on and make a wall hanging like the one
pictured which has full, half, and quarter plates.
EZ Dresden Template required for class.

Hand Quilting with Elley Zakula
Introduction to Hand Quilting.
Pick up your needles and learn this time honored tradition of making your
hand quilted projects extra special! Hand quilting has been handed down for
generations of quilters for it’s beauty, and enjoyment. You will learn traditional hand quilting methods step-by-step, with tips to make it so easy to learn.

Slumber Party Sleeping Bags
Playtime friends are all snuggled up in cozy sleeping bags, ready for a camp-out
or slumber party! 4 sizes. The sleeping bag pictured is sized for 18” dolls.

Beginning Machine Quilting with Heidi Bretall
If finishing projects with your own distinctive style of machine quilting is
something you’ve always wondered about… this class is for you. Beginning
machine quilting techniques, tools, and tips will be covered. Heidi will
share her favorite quilting motifs and you will leave with ideas for your individual projects.

English Paper Piecing with Elley Zakula
Elley will take the mystery out of those very accurately pieced
hexagons that you are seeing everywhere. Once you have the
hex put on you, you won’t be able to stop.

6D Software Classes: Each class listed has the software needed pictured and
listed. It is up to you to know which software you own.
6D Encore and More. We will design a beautiful pincushion
using the Encore features in your software. Plus, we will be
utilizing other features such as: letters are not always letters,
editing tab, and so much more. All 6D Embroidery, 6D Extra,
and 6D Premier owners are encouraged to attend.

You will be exploring the incredible functions that you have built into you
6D Stitch Editor Plus. We are going to work with existing designs and
learn how to do deep editing such as: removing and adding stitches, adding color changes, changing texture, optimizing stitching, changing stitching order, stitch by stitch using the visible stitch points. The sky is the limit once you
have taken this journey into editing plus.
You must have 6D software confidence when signing up for this class.
