Objectives • Support in building strong business model proposition and acquiring strong background in entrepreneurship and business modelling; • Support in building strong business plans and IPR strategies that pave the way to high quality SMEs which adhere to the high-growth SME profile; • Support to develop an appealing and suitable presentation of their innovative services towards investors and manufacturing industry; • Support with regular and structured feedback about the readiness of the innovative service proposition to move forward in the next phases of financing. 8 2. SML 1 DELIVERABLES 17 Instructions for deliverables • The templates for all the deliverables will be available on EMS. • You will have to download the documents, fill them and upload them: – Deliverables B, C, D : 26 June 2015 at 17h00 (CET) – Deliverable A : 30 June 2015 at 12h00 (CET) Language: Any deliverable required by this sub-grant agreement shall be in English. Documentation formats: Any document requested in any of the phases must be submitted electronically in PDF format without restrictions for printing. 18 a) Service prototype • A document describing the following characteristics of the service prototype must also be submitted: – General characteristics of the prototype – Functionalities implemented & pending. Use of FIWARE technologies. – Diagram with prototype architecture – Link to demo of the prototype, if applicable • Provided format: Powerpoint – 2 slides: introduction & instructions – 2 to 3 slides: your presentation 19 20 21 b) Business model and description of the 3D Printing application/service • Executive Summary describing the Business model • Business Model Canvas • Provided format: Excel 22 23 c) Presentation of the team • Presentation of the team members: Short CVs, roles in the project and impact of the project on professional career • Provided format: Powerpoint – 2 slides: introduction & instructions – 2 slides: your presentation 24 25 d) Plan for Phase 2 • Activities, milestones and deliverables • Description of industrial partner to be involved in SML2 trial • Provided format: Word document – 2 pages introduction & instructions – 2 to 3 pages: your presentation 26 27 Other deliverables Other Deliverables and reports defined by Annex I of the S-GA (the applicants project proposal) and upon agreement with FABulous team 28 6.SML 1 PROJECT REVIEW 29 SML 1 Project review • Participants are required to present their projects in Bilbao for the evaluation of SML 1 • Flights and hotel will be at your expenses (suggestions on accommodation options will be provided) • Each Project will have 10 minutes for presenting the prototype and deliverables, presentation will be followed by a 5 minutes Q&A round • Workshops will be organised during the two days of evaluation • Business meetings and Networking sessions shall also be offered to participants 30 AGENDA - SML 1 Project review Participants’ presence is recommended from the 30 June to the 2 July. Tuesday 30 June 2015 17h00-20h00: Demo presentation check at the evaluation center for Group A. Wednesday 1 July 2015 Evaluation day 1: participants will present their prototype and deliverables to the evaluation panel in 10 minutes plus 5 minutes of Q&A. Preparation/installation of project Demos at the evaluation center for Group B. Plan for Phase 2 1 minute Free explanation These are suggestions, we encourage you to be creative. 33 Demo Check • Projects must submit their presentation material (via EMS) before 26 June 2015 (12h00 – CET) • Presentation related to Deliverable A: Optional • Presentations related to Deliverables B, C, D: Mandatory No modifications of the submitted material will be allowed after the deadline. • FABulous team will not install any application, DB, library or similar. Submitted materials will be saved in the presentation laptop and made available to the project during their demo. • If you need specific installations we recommend you to use your own laptop/equipment at the review. In this case, projects do not need to submit material for Deliverable A. • In case of not submitting the material for presenting Deliverable A, it is the responsibility of the project to check during the assigned Demo check period that it works correctly. • In case of submitting all material FABulous team bring all material to the review. There are serious deficiencies that impede reaching SML2. 2 While the deliverable broadly addresses the issues expected, there are significant deficiencies that would hinder SML2 implementation. 3 The deliverable addresses the issues expected well, although additional details would be necessary to facilitate SML2 implementation. 4 The deliverable addresses the issues expected very well, although additional details would benefit SML2 implementation. 5 The deliverable successfully addresses all relevant aspects of the issues expected. Success in SML2 is highly probable.
