For all wedding function bookings from 1st January 2013 onwards the wedding ceremony will be
conducted inside the Marquee and the cost of basic wedding program is A$ 3500/ day which
includes Marquee hire charges, priest’s rituals, pooja and homam expenses during wedding
ceremony.

All wedding function bookings at SVT should be coordinated through Temple Wedding Function
Coordinator. In the case of his absence Secretary will take his responsibility.
If catering requirements required from the temple it should be coordinated through Temple
Catering Services Coordinator with deposit. Outside caterers will be permitted if required but they
should comply with temple guidelines.
Wedding Garlands can be provided by the temple. For special type garlands requirements please

Nadeswaram CDs. religious music or any mild music can be played during/after the wedding. Cine
music will not be permitted. Dancing and shouting during music will not be tolerated.
SVT can provide Kalyana Mandap for wedding ceremony. For bringing Kalyana Mandap from outside
the requirements must comply with temple rules and permission must be sought from Temple
Marriage Function Coordinator.
Wedding Ceremony will be conducted as per Hindu Vedic Sastra by Temple priests only. It is up to
Bride & Groom to select the temple priests for wedding of their choice. Marriage Celebrants are
available at temple and they should be contacted at least 5 weeks before the wedding. Bringing
priest from outside to perform wedding ceremony will not be permitted.
Wedding function booking form along with the Wedding Function Register must be filled by the
applicants and a deposit of minimum A$ 200 must be paid on the date of booking. Balance cost must
be fully paid by at least 45 days prior to the wedding ceremony. If the payment is not received the
wedding booking will be automatically cancelled. The deposit money will be returned.
After booking the wedding ceremony an appointment must be made with Marriage Function
Coordinator and Priest at least one month before wedding to discuss about wedding function and
other formalities. Bride and Groom along with their parents are recommended to participate during
discussion.
Wedding cancellation must be informed at least 30 days prior to the wedding date. In that case all
the cost paid except the deposit will be refunded. No money will be returned if the wedding
ceremony is cancelled during the last week. These conditions can be waived by Temple Authorities
due to unforeseen circumstances.

A caution deposit of A$ 500 to compensate for any damages occurred during the wedding ceremony
especially around Marquee area. This amount will be returned back if there are no damages found.
Participants must behave and dress properly during wedding ceremony. In appropriate behaviour
will not be tolerated.
Participants must keep calm during the wedding ceremony.
Throwing rubbish within the temple compounds will not be permitted. Use rubbish bins provided.
Group wedding photos must be taken out side temple.
Bride and Groom photos can be taken during the ceremony with in the Mandap. Photos will not be
allowed inside the temple on any circumstances.
Smoking and consuming alcohol with in the temple compounds will not be tolerated.
No wedding bookings during temple festival days.
