Florida Association Directors of Nursing Administration/LTC
Together, we can have a positive impact on Long-Term Care!

proudly supports the Florida Association Directors of
Nursing Administration
“Paperlite” Convention
In keeping with our organization-wide initiative,
the convention is paperlite — not paper free.
FADONA has developed a brand new mobile app. The app contains many
exciting features and will be available for this year’s annual convention and
throughout the year. If you have not already done so, please to download it for
free in iTunes and Android stores by searching for “FADONA” or “Florida
Association Directors of Nursing Administration.” The app will work on tablets
and smart phones.
Handouts are available online for paid registrants at www.fadona.org. This
will allow you to view and print them without charge before you arrive. Look
for the handouts to be posted online 7-10 days prior to the convention. Please
refer to your confirmation letter for details.
The app will allow you to view convention
information, including the agenda and
speaker handouts.

On behalf of the Board of
Directors of FADONA, I am
very pleased to welcome you
to Orlando and our 28th Annual
Convention & Trade Show. We’re
so glad you’re here.
Convention Chair Susie Jenvold
has been working diligently,
Jean Nelson
developing an agenda filled with
education, networking, and fun.
Please join us Tuesday and Wednesday in the exhibit hall and visit
with our vendor friends. Play “Make it Back to the Future,” the trade
show game, with our Fun Night sponsors and win some amazing
door prizes they have sponsored. It is these same members who have
worked so hard over the past few months in preparation for this fun
game — not to mention the “Your Future is Bright with the Platinum
Partners” fun night on Wednesday.
We have more than 60 booths at our convention this year, and their
support is very important to FADONA. Please be sure to show them
your appreciation and support by visiting each and every one multiple
times during the trade show.
In keeping with our convention theme, “Carrying the Torch of
Leadership,” we are fortunate to have an excellent lineup of nursing
leadership topics presented by highly knowledgeable speakers.
By working together, we have become, and will continue to be, a
cohesive force through which we will produce positive changes in
our industry. Networking at meetings like this is vital, and benefits
the residents of our facilities. They become the beneficiaries of our
increased knowledge and proactive stance.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve you as president this
past year. Again, welcome and enjoy yourselves.
President
2nd Vice President: 2013–2016

UNPRECEDENTED
GERM KILL,
INNOVATIVE
DISPENSING
TOGETHER, THEY PROVE
THAT A SINGLE SYSTEM
CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING.
For the first time ever, healthcare workers can meet hand
hygiene compliance guidelines with a single pump of PURELL®
Advanced Instant Hand Sanitizer.* That’s because only GOJO®
ADX™ and GOJO LTX™ dispensing systems are designed to
release 1.1 mL of product — the exact amount of PURELL
Advanced Hand Sanitizer necessary to exceed FDA Healthcare
Personnel Handwash efficacy requirements.1 No other
instant hand sanitizer can do that.2 So every time healthcare
workers use PURELL Advanced Instant Hand Sanitizer from
one of these systems, you can be confident that they’re
getting enough product to help stop the spread of infection.
Creating the ultimate combination of unprecedented
germ kill and innovative dispensing — we had a hand
in that.
* PURELL Advanced Instant Hand Sanitizer exceeds HCPHW at 1.1 mL of product. ADX and LTX dispensers only.
Fully primed pump through 95% of refill.
