Catching Up With Fairbees Thursday, April 16th, Fairbees had their Chicken Ranch Special with Gary Sanders calling ALL Singing Calls. What a fun nite - Gary Sanders had lots of tidbits to pass on during the nite about the Chicken Ranch. Miss Mona (Carol Hooper), Melvin P. Thorpe ( Ken Hooper) and Sherriff Ed Earl (Rick Goetz) certainly added to the entertainment of the night. Melvin took over the microphone during the dance and went into a rage about the Chicken Ranch and how Callers were the ones responsible for bringing business to Miss Mona's house. He wanted her closed down and run out of town. However, Miss Mona stood her groundSheriff Ed Earl upon Nancy Beaton, Editor [email protected] May, 2015 hearing of the shouting, immediately took control of the situation and stood up for Miss Mona and her business. He then proceeded to run Melvin right out of town, never to darken our doors again. A round of applause for our great celebrities of the nite who make it a memorable time!
