From the Director, Assistant Director and Parent Association President
Dear Beth El Nursery School Supporters,
The Beth El Nursery School Parent Social is our Parent Association's
largest fundraising effort of the year, and we truly appreciate your
participation and support. Your generosity has enabled us to provide
many of the meaningful programs and experiences that enhance our
children’s learning.
The success of last year's fundraising efforts enabled us to purchase
laptops for each classroom. Teachers now email the parent body on a
daily basis with updates, news and photos. Thus, parents have a
continual flow of information as to how their children spend their day.
In addition, we have funded the equipment to create a Construction Site
(building room) as well as a Science Lab. These two spaces offer
additional learning opportunities for exploration and creativity.
None of these things could have happened without your continued
support. Plans for this year’s funds are already in the works. We hope to
upgrade the gross motor equipment in our Kasakove play space and we
are exploring some innovative ideas for our outdoor space.

We would like to thank all those within the Beth El community, as well as
the surrounding community, who have helped to make this event possible.
We are appreciative of all of the long hours, dedication, collaboration, and
generosity that went into formulating the biggest social fundraising event in
Beth El Nursery School's history. We would like to extend our gratitude to
all the amazing donors as well as those who solicited donations; it is
because of your generosity that this event came into fruition. We are
fortunate to live in a community whose businesses contributed to this event
in benefit of our wonderful school. Finally, we would like to thank the
faculty, clergy, the Parent Association President Alyssa Erber, Ronnie
Becher and Judy Friedman for their guidance – they have taught us that a
successful school must have a strong partnership between parents and
administration.
Planning and executing this evening was just the beginning, now we invite
you to come to this wonderful event and bid on some amazing items!

event but would like to bid on an item, you may do so by filling out bidding
forms from the security desk the week of the event.
Here at Beth El, we are thankful for the opportunity to raise funds for
"extras" that enhance our children’s educational experiences.

Silent auction bidding begins at 7:30 p.m. The auction will end at 9:15 p.m.
All minimum bids and bid increases must be observed as stated on the bid
sheets.
The last bid upon closing is the winning bidder and will be marked as such
by the silent auction committee.

Instead of bidding on items, participants in this “Lucky Draw” will purchase
raffle tickets to be deposited in a corresponding box, in front of the desired
item. A ticket value has been assigned to each raffle item, which dictates
the number of $1 tickets each participant must invest, in order to take part
in the drawing. The winning ticket holder will be selected as the result of a
random drawing.
While tickets sell for $1 each, many “Lucky Draw” items require multiple
tickets. Furthermore, raffle participants are encouraged to enter as many
times as they wish, to increase their chances of winning. There is no limit to
the number of raffle tickets purchased, or to the number of entries
submitted in individual prize boxes.
Lucky Draw begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 9:15 p.m.
