Take a look at this straight forward, no
nonsense, high producing farm located on the
Hi-Line north of Glasgow, Montana. Of the
3,674 total acres, 1670 acres are irrigated
making it one of the largest irrigated farms in
the country! A producer with the crop history to
back it up! Farm also consists of 757 dryland
cultivated acres, 412 acres of CRP, 300
acres of tame grass, and 514 acres of
grazing. There are 3,034 deeded acres and

excellent access to all fields from county roads.
12 center pivots supplied by 11 irrigation wells
irrigate crops of wheat, flax, and alfalfa. Cash
crops of lentils and peas can also be grown.
High yields are achieved through a rotation of
crops from alfalfa to grain crops to specialty
crops. Yields of 80 plus bushels per acre
are expected as well as 6 ton plus alfalfa which
for the last several years has been sold to clients
in the Midwest demanding high quality hay.
RFV tests are available on request.
As soon as the hay crop is baled and stacked,
sprinklers are immediately turned on to begin
the next growth.
No waiting to order water. With wells ranging
from approximately 70 to 100 deep, it lies just
below the surface waiting to be pumped on
demand.
Third cutting alfalfa gets a drink.
High yielding wheat crops slowly ripen…….
are constantly monitored...................
until they are harvested.
Farm includes a large shop with remote door
openers and big enough for semis and today’s
equipment plus …..
