The Forgotten Shops Hop is back for a second year!
This hop features eight quilt stores in Central
Illinois. These shops are normally outside the
geographic boundaries of most hops in South
Central Illinois.
The quilt theme for this year is Baskets of Fun.
Each shop will have a 12” quilt block kit for
purchase for $5, including tax. Each shop will also
have a finishing kit available. This means you get
lots of options to choose from!
Pictures of the finished quilts will be posted on the
Facebook pages of Farmland Quilting, Mini Mall Quilt
Shop, The Quilt Traveler, The Quilted Cow, and Times
Square Sewing Complex.
All shops will maintain the same open hours
during the hop:
Monday-Thursday 9a-5p
Friday 9a-7p
Saturday 9a-3p

Prizes
Visit all 8 shops to qualify for the following prizes:
Grand Prize: 90 fat quarters
2nd Prize: $100 gift card*
3rd Prize: $50 gift card*
*You can use these gift cards at any of the participating shops in the hop.
Each shop will also have a $25 gift certificate to give away.
You can only spend this gift certificate at that shop.

Passport
You can purchase passports* for the hop from any
of the participating shops. You can purchase these
ahead of time or at the first shop you visit.
Cost: $5 (limit one per person)
*Passport holder must be present to get it stamped from the different shops.
You will get one stamp on your initial visit to each shop.
Even though there are 8 shops
in the hop this year, there are
still 9 blocks available! Pick up
two blocks when you stop by

NEW: Scavenger Hunt!
This year, we are also having a shop
scavenger hunt! Each shop will have a separate
item somewhere in their store in a basket for
you to find.
Included on the back of your passport, you will
have a list of the shops with an area to write
each shop item you find. Find the scavenger
hunt item at each store and write it on the back
of the passport next to that store’s name.
To be eligible for the scavenger hunt prize, you
must find the scavenger hunt item at a
minumum of 6 shops during the hop. Have a
staff member at each store stamp your card.
PRIZE: A sampling of all the items found from
each shop in the scavenger hunt.
