sought help at Thai Country Trim. Her family

other women, is employed by Thai Country

living and learning to heal from her past.

NEW LIFE CENTER
The New Life Center works with girls and young women
from the hill tribe minority groups of northern Thailand
who are at risk for or victims of exploitation, abuse, and
human trafficking. The program provides educational
and residential services, vocational and life skills
training, and therapeutic activities. New Life Center
also works with the Royal Thai government to advocate
against and raise awareness of human trafficking. More
than 200 young women find freedom and a new way
of life each year through the center. Making handicrafts
during their free time enables residents to learn new
skills, build confidence, and earn income.
