It gives you both time in front of the camera, at a favourite place and spending some relaxed time together. It is a great opportunity to have some time out together to celebrate your love and create some beautiful images to get excited about before your wedding! Having a pre-wedding shoot means you’ll have some images that you could use for save the date cards, invites or signing boards. Couples shoots cost just £300 we’ll meet for a coffee and then ease into the shoot with the whole event lasting around 2 hours. ABOUT ME Hello there, I’m Rebecca and I live in Kent with my husband Mark (an über maths geek) and our cute cat Misu – his name derived from my favourite pudding Tiramisu. What totally makes me tick is telling a story and this starts by putting you at the heart of what I do, hearing about the dreams for your big day and how you would like my photography to be shaped around that. You could say this is my mission, to capture you, being you having the best day of your lives. I love capturing love. It is a total treat to work with folk to create elegant, soft, natural images with a creative twist. Photos are so important, the still frames that are our connection to our past and our legacy for the future. One of my first jobs was processing 35mm film at Lawn’s in Broadstairs so photography and I have had a long history! I am lucky enough to teach folk photography and advise on employability in higher education. I am easily distracted by nature, birds fascinate me (not-so-closet RSPB & Woodland Trust member!) and I adore being outside, seeing, listening and just being. I did a geography degree so our environment is important to me. I love walking in deserted woodland or taking a sunset cycle ride along the coast. You could say I am a craft addict, always crocheting, sewing and making which includes my handmade packaging. It is made from sustainable sourced materials and one of my albums is completely eco-friendly too! Music is my life blood. I always listen, sing and play piano and sax. Mark and I play in The Railway Swing Band, raising money for local charities and had a ball playing in a function band too! My work has been featured on leading wedding blogs (RocknRoll Bride, Offbeat Bride, Whimsical Wonderland Wedding, English Wedding, Wantthatwedding). Wedding Ideas, Mollie Makes and Pretty Patches have published some of my work and The Times Newspaper featured an image of a couple in their wedding announcement section. Locally my work has been recognised by Your Kent Wedding who feature me in their ‘Ask the Expert’ column and images on several of their covers.
