Lupin Quilt Fair & Market Day Tour Port Elgin, NB Saturday July 5th, 2014 Saturday, July 7th 8:30 am 10:00 am Meet your Driver and Tour Director from Target Tours at the Seniors Active Living Centre at the CARI Complex MacLauchlan Arena entrance and depart for Port Elgin, NB. Pick up in Cornwall is available. Arrive at the Lupin Quilt Fair & Market in Port Elgin, NB. There will be over 200 quilts and hooked mats for sale or on display, with quilting and rug hooking demonstrations for you to enjoy. We will also have a delicious lunch at the Fair (Included). 1:30 pm Depart for a scenic drive on the Sunrise Trail along the Northumberland Shore. 3:45 pm Arrive in Pictou, NS. You are free to walk the historic town or visit Handiworks craft shop. Browse the handmade furniture, ceramics, wood carvings, fibre arts, metalwork, woolen products and original art that will move your spirit. See unique work created by Nova Scotia aritsans and pick up supplies for yourself. Other places of interest include a visit to the Hector, a beautiful replica of one of the first ships carrying Scottish settlers to Nova Scotia in 1773 (Admission, $5 not included), and Rags to Rugs hooking shop. 5:15 pm Depart for Caribou Ferry. 6:15 pm Ferry departs for Prince Edward Island. Enjoy the scenic ferry ride home, and have dinner onboard. (Dinner not included) 9:00pm Approximate arrival in Charlottetown, PE. Please arrive at your pick up location at least 15 minutes prior departure and enjoy your day! Gratuities are not included.
