ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS OTTERBEIN LIFE ENRICHMENT CENTER PEMBERVILLE, OHIO CLIENT – Ridge Stone Builders, Brian Gruber, 419- 874-8847 SERVICES –Architectural and Engineering Design PROJECT DESCRIPTION Otterbein’s Portage Valley Life Enrichment Center is a dynamic multipurpose space that serves as an activity center, community focal point and effective marketing tool for attracting prospective residents. Many of the interior features and design elements were inspired by input received from resident focus groups. The Life Enrichment Center has a “clubhouse” atmosphere that is both homey and comfortable. The open-air concept has vaulted ceilings, a natural stone fireplace, elegant kitchen and breath taking views of the pond and surrounding landscape. The design-build team of Feller Finch & Associates and Ridge Stone Builders provided a 3100 square foot solution that exceeded everyone’s expectations. The FFA team provided the architectural and engineering design, surveying and construction staking services for the project. The residents and staff at Portage Valley love their new space The facility is brimming with activity both day and night. Residents can be seen in the new Life Enrichment Center playing cards, watching television, listening to music and even baking cookies.
