with sound signal received and green light flashed from the Boat Unit
service and
general notice
Always make sure the MOB Unit and the Boat Unit is confirmed connected
before driving the boat.

Always make sure to check the battery level sign on the Boat Unit before
driving the boat. Confer with section Battery Indication to check how many
hours there are left of battery life on the MOB Unit, according to number
of lighten battery symbols on the Boat Unit. Take into account your
expected trip duration measured to battery life left on the MOB Unit. See
section “Battery Indication”.

When Battery Level is low on the MOB Unit – the Battery Light
will
blink on the far left indicator while the MOB Unit is connected to the Boat
Unit. Make sure to replace the battery as soon as low battery is indicated.
Recommended battery is: BATTERY LITHIUM COIN 3V 20MM - CR2032
from Panasonic - BCG. Please contact FELL for any support.

Always drive the boat carefully and in accordance with local laws of
operating a motorized vehicle/boat on water. FELL bares no responsibility
for injury, death or other damage caused by malfunction of the WiMEA
system if the boat/vehicle is not operated in accordance with local laws in
conjunction with system malfunction of the Boat Unit or the MOB Unit
device.

Never attempt fast speed or dangerous maneuvers of the boat, especially
if battery level is low on the MOB Unit. Battery depletion of MOB Unit can
cause sudden engine stop and result in loss of control or maneuverability
of the boat.

Never attempt any service of inside components in either the Boat Unit or
the MOB Unit. You should only change battery in the MOB Unit when
battery level is indicated low by the Boat Unit. See section Battery
Indication. All service of FELL WiMEA devices should be performed by
qualified personnel as stated by FELL, see information at:
www.fell.no/support

Use the Boat Unit Protection Cover when the boat or the system is not in
use. Especially over long time of inactivity and storage of the boat. This
prevents the material of the Boat Unit from corroding/losing color over
time.
WiMEA Owner`s Manual

Make sure to test the FELL WiMEA system every time the boat and the
FELL WiMEA system has been inactive for an extended period of time. We
recommend to check all wiring and to test functionality at least every six
months. If in doubt, please contact your local WiMEA vendor or contact
FELL at: www.fell.no/support

Do not leave your MOB Unit in the boat unobserved, this to prevent easy
theft of the boat if the ignition key is also situated in the boat, or the
engine of the boat is able to start by connecting the FELL WiMEA only.
Please refer to the engine manufacturer for information regarding ignition
and starting procedure of the engine.

Do not leave your MOB Unit in the boat when not in use for a long time,
this to prevent unnecessary battery usage, even though the MOB Unit will
automatically time-out from connection. See section Smart Energy Usage.
Other Safety
Considerations

Small parts contained in your device and its accessories may present a
choking hazard to small children.

Personal medical devices, such as pacemakers, may be sensitive to
magnetic and electromagnetic fields. Since FELL WiMEA contain magnets
and emit electromagnetic fields, they should be kept at least 30 cm from
any personal medical device. If any interference is observed, consult with
your physician before resuming use. Items with magnetically-stored data,
such as credit cards and hard drives, may also be sensitive to magnetic or
electromagnetic fields, and should not be placed near FELL WiMEA
devices.
EU Conformity
Hereby, FELL AS, declares that this device is in compliance with the essential
requirements and other relevant provisions of R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC. A copy
of the EU Declaration of Conformity is available at:

communications and electronic equipment, i.e. if hardware or software is being
tampered with or the device has become broken. FELL WiMEA devices are designed
and manufactured to only communicate with FELL WiMEA devices. External RF
signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic
operating systems, entertainment systems, and personal medical devices. While
most modern electronic equipment is shielded from external RF signals, if in doubt,
check with the manufacturer or contact FELL for support. For personal medical
devices (such as pacemakers and hearing aids), consult with your physician or the
manufacturer to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF
signals, showing this user guide to the respective physician or manufacturer. In the
unlikely event that you experience interference with other electronic devices,
please contact customer support on: www.fell.no/support or contact the
manufacturer of the respective electronic device.

protection.
The limits are part of extensive recommendations for the protection of the general
public. These recommendations have been developed and checked by independent
scientific organizations through regular and thorough evaluations of scientific
studies. The unit of measurement for the European Council's recommended limit
for mobile devices is the "Specific Absorption Rate" (SAR), and the SAR limit is 2.0
W/ kg averaged over 10 gram of tissue. It meets the requirements of the
International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
Recycling FELL
WiMEA Properly
In some areas, the disposal of certain electronic devices is regulated. Make
sure you dispose of or recycle FELL WiMEA devices in accordance with your local
laws and regulations.
