FestivALL Art Parade

FestivALL Art Parade: The Art Parade is a vibrant celebration of the crea-
tivity and spirit of FestivALL. Join us as theater groups, visual artists, dancers, street performers, art cars, music makers and local organizations parade down Capitol Street from Kanawha Boulevard to the post-parade party
at the Capitol Market.

Rules and Requirements:
Participants are invited to create a visual art piece that can be worn, walked, carried, pulled or performed while traveling along the FestivALL Art Parade route.
Bikes, skates, wagons, wheelbarrows, wheeled platforms, etc. are all acceptable.

If you wish to utilize a vehicle, permission must be requested. If you are interested in
submitting an Art Car or have an idea that requires a vehicle, please email your ideas to
[email protected] for approval.

ALL FESTIVALL ART PARADE PARTICIPANTS MUST SUBMIT AN ENTRY FORM. Applicants
will be contacted within a week of the application being submitted. Further instructions will
be emailed upon review.

FestivALL Officials reserve the right to refuse any entry at any time.

Profanity and nudity are prohibited. All entries must be suitable for family viewing.

Participants may supply music, but equipment will not be provided for you.

Parade will be held rain or shine. Only a significant act of nature will cancel the parade.

All participants and entries must appear to be in costume, exercising creativity, or otherwise decorated.

No entries may present a safety hazard to participants or audience.

Entries including children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
