Studio, Photography, Media and Computer Graphics
Join us for a unique Visual Arts program that enriches your high
school experience!
We are pleased to be able to offer our Arts Innovate program and
our Arts and Culture Specialist High Skills Major Program.
Studio
Each studio course builds the foundation for the next. Different
levels explore different materials and art concepts.
• Sculpture (clay, papier mache)
• Painting (tempera, acrylic, oil)
• Printmaking (intaglio)
• Drawing (pencil, pen, ink, charcoal, conte, pastel)
• Elements and Principles of Design
• Art appreciation
Photography
This course offers a foundation of knowledge about DSLR cameras
and introduces Photoshop as a progressive software medium to
enhance the photographer’s work.
Media
These two senior courses are an adventure into the world of filmmaking through the use video techniques, sound booth editing,
and iMac software (iMovie).
Computer Graphics
These two senior courses explore a variety of contemporary
software options such as Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, Vector
graphics and more.
All of these courses provide a solid platform for students
transitioning to College, University or a work context.
