Dear Parents,
Well, this is my penultimate letter to you all and it is beginning to feel a little bit strange.
Leaving somewhere so special is difficult, but I leave with so many wonderful memories. The
position of Headteacher has been advertised today and is in the Kirklees job bulletin and in
the National TES jobs. (I have strategically placed a few round school!!)
Friday Assembly
Year 2 will be taking assembly on Friday morning, so come along and enjoy.
Visit to Batley Girls
Year 5 and 6 are going to Batley Girls tomorrow to watch MacBeth. I am sure they will love
it, and a special thanks to Batley Girls for organising this for us and paying for it too.
Next week
I will be totally honest, I don’t really know much about what is happening next week, but this
is what I know.
Wednesday all day – The Easter Bunny may be popping down to visit!
Wednesday afternoon – Come and say goodbye to Miss Robinson and enjoy a royal
afternoon tea.
That is all I know, but I am sure there will be a few tears on Thursday morning – I am
assuming there will be an assembly, but everyone is keeping quiet.
We are collating the parent questionnaires currently, and will send these results out next week
and display on the website.

School Pumps
The children will be bringing their school pumps home with them over the Easter Holidays.
Could you check whether they need a new pair or not to bring back to school when we return
on Monday 20 April 2015.

CELEBRATION
As you are aware Janet Lunn, Head Teacher is leaving us next week and we are inviting you
to attend her last assembly at Field Lane on her last day Thursday 2 April 2015 at 9:00 am.

and one for Ms Lunn for you and your child(ren) to write on and return to Miss Patel,
