22nd April 2015 SUSTAINABILITY AND BUILDINGS Walking the tightrope to 2050 Join us in Loughborough for the second conference run by the students of the London-Loughborough Centre for Doctoral Research in Energy Demand. This year’s theme is “Sustainability and Buildings – walking the tightrope to 2050”. This invitation is for abstracts – leading to an oral or poster presentation – about research which addresses any of the conference themes. Submissions should demonstrate the link between the research and real-world impacts, for example, in terms of how it could help meet European 2050 targets for a lowcarbon economy. The conference is open to all current and recently graduated UK and international research students, and other researchers or stakeholders. It is intended as a platform to network, share experiences and debate issues of sustainability and buildings. Registration is free and some assistance with travelling expenses will be available (email [email protected] for details).
