Strictly speaking, "Locust Valley" on the map is a quaint hamlet of Oyster Bay Town, with shops and boutiques, a library, fire house and Long Island Rail Road Station. Thomas Park in Locust Valley is accross from the train station and surrounded by the most affluent homes on the East Coast. It is a natural setting for our Handmade Craft Expo in the Park. Preferred Promotions will provide space for the artisan to display their products and/or services. The artisan agrees to solicit their product in this area only. 2. I understand Preferred Promotions reserves the right to remove any item deemed inappropriate for the event. 3. The artisan agrees to be set-up on time and further agrees to remain set-up for the duration of the show. 4. The artisan agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Locust Valley, Town of Oyster Bay and Preferred Promotions and affiliates harmless from any and all loss,injury or damage to the artisan, artisan's employees and/or any other person attributing to any act or omission of the artisan. 5. The artisan agrees to abide by all City, State and Federal rules and regulations applicable to it and its activities at Handmade Craft Expo in Locust Valley. 6. It is agreed that Preferred Promotions reserves the right to amend and/or add to the applicable rules pertaining to and governing this event any time prior to commencement of said show. Additions or amendments will be circulated in writing. 7. The show will go on rain or shine on rain date. No refunds will be issued due to extreme weather conditions or other occurances beyond our control. General Release and acceptance of rules. I have read the contract and agree to abide by said rules. In addition, I expressly release Locust Valley, Town of Oyster Bay and Preferred Promotions Ltd. and owners of the event site from any damage, injury or loss to any person or goods which may arise from the rental and occupations of said space or the participation in this show by the exhibitor. I also agree to hold the producer and owners of the event site harmless of any loss, injury or damage by reason thereof. I further agree that no employment is created by this contract. I understand that if this application is not accepted rental fees will be voided and returned by mail. If this application is accepted, I give permission to use photos and any other materials submitted for publicity purposes. Application to this show constitutes vendor agreement of this release.
