In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting nation in the name of the White Tiger. From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermilion Bird rose in defiance, her Crystal granting magic and mighty Eidolons that her disciples might cast out their technologically advanced aggressors. Unto the world, the Crystals shall bestow a savior—Agito. Just when it seemed as though the day might be won, however, all would soon be lost. Thrust into the tumult of war, the fate of the world and its four Crystals now rests on the shoulders of fourteen brave young warriors. 04 05 The Dominion of Rubrum Home to the Vermilion Bird Crystal and Class Zero, this tight-knit collection of city-states shares one common thread tying them all together: reverence for the arcane arts. Chancellor Khalia Chival VI Headmaster of Akademeia and chief executive of the dominion, this famed mage has earned the respect and implicit trust of his populace. The Militesi Empire Home to the White Tiger Crystal, this warmongering state mass-produces magitek armor and other highly advanced armaments with no signs of stopping. Marshal Cid Aulstyne Through craft and charisma, the grand marshal usurped the Militesi throne. Now he plots to seize control of all four Crystals of Orience. The Kingdom of Concordia Home to the Azure Dragon Crystal, this matriarchy is well known for its citizens’ ability to commune with and control dragons and other creatures. Queen Andoria Kaya Tranka Fam Forturio Reigning monarch of the Kingdom of Concordia, she strongly values law and order, and she always follows her heart. The Legend of Orience Since the dawn of eternity, four beacons of hope have shone upon the world. Men flocked to these lights, around which they built four peristylia. Each peristylium became their faith and society, the path upon which they are set: The Vermilion Bird—wings of fire to lift the heart. The White Tiger—steely arms by which to seize knowledge. The Azure Dragon—unclouded eyes that see all beneath the skies. The Black Tortoise—a rigid shield and a well-guarded blade. But when nine and nine meet nine, Tempus Finis shall be willed upon them, For without its savior Agito, the world of Orience must persist in its spiral. 06 The Lorican Alliance Home to the Black Tortoise Crystal, this nation has produced countless paladins who boast brawny bodies far sturdier than any man-made armor. King Ashur Although he received the blessing of the Crystal, this ruler has forgotten his Focus. He now roams Orience in search of his calling—and a good fight. 07 Class Zero ir classes based on the into one of twelve ret ted sec sor a of are ts ak de spe Ca All of the Agito around Akademeia s.
