3) The source of all power is a ________________________.

CBM Prayerline
Kenya/South Sudan
Aaron and Erica Kenny recently visited Kakuma Refugee Camp in
Kenya, home to displaced people from East Africa & the Middle East.
They pass along news from Pastor Nyok who leads a church in the camp:
“Our church keeps growing as new people arrive every day from South
Sudan and my congregation is now reaching 870 people, most are widows
and orphans. This week we are meeting for two days of prayer and mourning
to comfort the orphans, widows and widowers of the deceased families. It is
not easy for the widows to stay alone, but they encourage each other. God is
at work! The people are supportive of one another and we have not lost our
faith. Please pray for the orphans and widows of our church. We are doing
our best for each other, but the needs are so great." Pray for God’s comfort
and for peace and reconciliation in South Sudan.
Bolivia
Tim & Kallie Hutton, our newest Field Staff in Bolivia, praise God for the
caring ministry of dedicated volunteers from a local Baptist church in El Alto
who provide preschool classes as well as nutritional snacks and health care
to young children living in some of El Alto’s most struggling neighbourhoods.
Members of the church are also partnered up with each student’s family to
encourage community relationships and more personal support. The program
is called PEPE and is one of the initiatives of the Integral Mission Centre
supported by CBM and the Union of Bolivian Baptists.
