BIBLE STUDY
Janet Walsh
The Bible study group meets every Thursday
at 10am in the Magnolia Clubhouse small
card room. Come join us, everyone is welcome!
BILLIARD CLUB
Welcome new members. We have upgraded
another one of our tables. Dues are just $7 a
year for owners/renters. Must present 5
Towns ID care to join. So come on down and
join the fun with visiting friends and relatives. Open 8am- 10pm every day for your

BINGO
Bingo will begin again on November 5th as
the same format as April 2014. We are always in need of volunteers so that we can
alternate teams and would welcome your
input and help. Please call us if you could
help as many hands make light work. Be sure

BOWLING
Five Towns Mixed
Join us in our mixed bowling league. We
bowl every Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm at
Seminole Lanes with the exception of major
holidays. Our season begins in September
and ends in April.

EUCHRE
We have Euchre every Thursday evening at
7pm sharp. It’s in the Main Card room in the
Magnolia center. New members are always
welcome. Come join in the fun.

EXERCISE
Older adults, both male and female can
benefit from exercise, and it need not be
strenuous to achieve good health.
We do some exercises standing for arm
movement and stretching.
We do some exercises holding on to a chair
to improve balance and strength in legs.
We do some sitting in the chair for our
lower body improvement and last some
floor exercises.
Come join us Mon, Wed, Fri @9:30am in
the Magnolia Aud. All are welcome– it is

We meet every Tues. in the Mag. MCR at
12:30pm, usually finished by 3:45pm. If

LIBRARY CLUB

SUMMER HOURS-10:00am to 12:20pm will
begin MONDAY May 4. The library’s
phone # is 545-5189. Remember—you can
renew by phone to avoid the 5 cents per
day fine.
We have started to buy some regular print
best sellers and we also have best sellers
in large print. Stop in and see what we
have to offer. Donations of books as well
as monetary donations are always accepted.
Our book sale is ongoing with many hard
cover (2 for $1.00) & paperbacks (6 for
$1.00) available. If sold separately, they are
75 cents and 20 respectively.
Annual Dues are $5 per
person or $7 for 2 people living in the

PINOCHLE CLUB
Warmer weather is finally here after a very
harsh winter. Get out of your home for a
few hours and come over to the clubhouse
for an afternoon of Pinochle and possibly
make some new friends. Rain or shine, the
Club plays every Wednesday.
We start gathering about 11:30 AM &
begin play promptly @noon. However, if
everyone is accounted for we may start a
little ahead of time. Try to get here early so
you don’t become a “sit-out”. A reminder,
you must be a resident of Five Towns, or
someone visiting a resident, to be able to
participate. We play single deck—auction
bid. You are missed when you are absent
so put it on your calendar to remind yourself.
Remember to bring a sweater or Jacket.

a “Dealers Choice” poker game held in the

SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB

It is never too late to join in the fun and
camaraderie of the shuffleboard Club. Remember that open shuffleboard is scheduled for Mondays and Saturdays at 1 p.m.
Or just come down to the courts and join in.
Dues can be paid at the courts or at the
meeting. They are still a bargain at $5 for
the year. Of course, that entitles you to the
use of the club equipment at any time. If
you need a clubhouse key, they are $2.
SOCIAL CLUB

First and foremost, we’d like to than you all
for a wonderful Social Club season! This
time of year is always bittersweet as we say
goodbye, temporarily, to our snowbird
neighbors and to most of the club season.
We DO want you to know that the Social
Club is working on an idea or two for the
summer. Please be sure to check your upcoming newsletters for more information as
well as our 2015-2016 season schedule.
We’d also like to give thanks to our Table
Captains again! Your efforts make the
dance process much easier on all of us. We
are always liking for anyone who would like
to be a new Table Captain. If you are interested for next season, please be sure to
