Panhellenic Post
Panhellenic Association Month of the Scholar
The National Panhellenic Conference stands for good
scholarship among sorority women, and scholarship is a core
value of each NPC member organization. Here at Florida
State, we pride ourselves highly on scholarship, so we wanted to
take advantage of celebrating Month of the Scholar through an
event in February. The Panhellenic Association hosted a
Workshop centered around job searching and interviewing for
approximately 150 members of our community. The keynote
speaker for this workshop was FSU Career Center's Liz Pawley,
who brought valuable information to those who attended, and
we greatly appreciate the skills that she translated to our
members for furthering the success of women in our community.
Congratulations to our Vice President of Programming Megan
McGee for organization this beneficial and successful event. For more information on Liz Pawley and
the resources available at the Florida State Career Center visit www.career.fsu.edu.
2015 Valentines Day Events
Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, and Zeta Tau Alpha each hosted special events the week of Valentines Day
to bring their sisters and our Panhellenic community together. Each member of their chapters were
encouraged to invite a friend in another Panhellenic chapter
to enjoy an evening full of sweet treats, photo booths,
and even a trunk show. Alison Datoc the
Panhellenic Delegate of Zeta Tau Alpha had this to say
about organizing their Valentines Day event. “Bringing
women together in the Panhellenic community is something I
am passionate about and I am thankful for the opportunity to
do so. I couldn’t be happier with the turnout of the event,
and am overjoyed that guests were able to form new
relationships with other amazing women in a fun, and lively
environment!”
Panhellenic Executive Board 2015 Mission Statement
“We, as the 2015 Panhellenic Executive Board, promise to hold our positions with honor and integrity. As
elected members of the community, we will challenge expectations and strive to always represent the
Panhellenic core values in our daily lives.
As a team, we will respect one another’s ideas, goals and decisions, and seek to have a thorough basis of
understanding. By working together cohesively, we will create a positive and effective team dynamic. We
recognize the importance of building a network of support amongst the Greek councils and the FSU campus
community, and pledge to foster and develop these relationships to continuously promote sorority and
fraternity life in a positive light.
Together, we will challenge the process. We will strive to create innovation through progressive tradition, thus
allowing our Greek Community to reach its full potential. Our board promises to be transparent with the
community, and each other, while remaining trusting resources to all those within it. We are in our positions
to serve Panhellenic and promise to exemplify this in all of our actions.”

We Need Your Input!
National Panhellenic
Council Visit
We were extremely fortunate to have three
wonderful women from NPC visit our
community from February 18th to the 21st.
The women met with student leaders from
within the Panhellenic Association, campus
community, and faculty to develop ways for
our community to continue progress. This
was the first visit NPC has made to Florida
State University since 2006, and we hope
their guidance will help our Panhellenic
community reach its’ full potential for years to
come.
To make the Panhellenic newsletter successful we need your help! We would
love to hear about your chapter’s recent achievements and the individuals in your chapter who
excel in service, scholarship, and campus involvement. The newsletter will be distributed the first
of every month and submissions are due by the 20th of the pervious month. Please email all
information to Megan Cromwell, at [email protected].
