There will be no transfer organised between hotels and the golf club.
Practice days are Wednesday June 24 (afternoon) and Thursday

RULES & CONDITIONS
1. Entry conditions
The Championship is open to male and female amateur golfers as defined by the current Rules of
Amateur Status. All competitors must be members of a golf club which itself is a member of it's
national federation/union/association.
Exact handicap will not exceed 3.5 for men and 5.0 for ladies.
Entry is limited to 144 competitors. If entries exceed 90 for men and/or 54 for ladies, the highest
handicaps will be eliminated. Competitors with same handicaps will be eliminated by ballot.
For the men's field the following competitors will gain automatic entry, provided they meet the entry
criteria and their entry is received before the closing date:

2 players from each of the countries finishing in the Top-8 teams at the previous European
Amateur Team Championship,
the past 5 winners of the Swiss International Amateur Championships,
the reigning Swiss National Stroke Play and Match Play champions,
10 players nominated by the Swiss Golf Association.
All remaining entries up to 90 competitors will be accepted according to firstly, the WAGR ranking (up
to rank 1000 - as of 27.05.15) and secondly, exact handicap. Changes in handicap will be accepted
only until the entry deadline (6pm 25.05.2015) after which no changes can be made to the handicap.
For the ladies field the following competitors will gain automatic entry, provided they meet the entry
criteria and their entry is received before the closing date:

1 player from each of the countries finishing in the Top-5 teams at the previous European Ladies'
Team Championship,
the past 5 winners of the Swiss International Ladies Amateur Championships,
the reigning Swiss National Stroke Play and Match Play champions,
8 players nominated by the Swiss Golf Association.
All remaining entries up to 54 competitors will be accepted according to firstly, the WWAGR ranking
(up to rank 1500 - as of 27.05.15) and secondly, exact handicap. Changes in handicap will be
accepted only until the entry deadline (6pm 25.05.2015) after which no changes can be made to the
handicap.
Players who do not gain entry will be placed on a list of reserves and will be contacted when their turn
arrives, provided they indicate an email address on their entry form. Furthermore, accepted entries
and reserves lists will be published on our website www.golfsuisse.ch.
Note: The winner of the Swiss International Amateur Men's Championship will receive an invitation to
participate (as an amateur) in the Omega European Masters European Tour Event taking place in
Crans-Montana, July 23-26 2015.
2. Format
a) The Championship shall comprise 72 holes of stroke play over 3 days, which will be played in
accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A Ltd and with the Local Rules approved by
the Organising Committee.
b) The first two rounds are played on Friday and Saturday, the remaining two rounds on Sunday.
c) There will be a cut after 36 holes. The 39 best scores of the men's field (and all ties) and the 21
best scores of the ladies' field (and all ties) will qualify for the last two rounds on Sunday.
d) Bad weather: if either the first or second rounds are cancelled due to bad weather, the cut will be
determined according to the only round played.
e) In case of a tie for 1st place, the winner shall be determined by sudden-death play-off.
3. Closing Date
The closing date for entries is 25 May 2015 at 6.00pm. Entries should reach the Swiss Golf
Association by this time at the latest.
4. Entry Fee
The entry fee for the Championship is CHF 100.- per competitor.

Drugs: A competitor must not knowingly make use of any drug to enhance his performance. A
competitor must, if requested, submit to a random drug test. Failure to do so may result in
disqualification.
Distance measurement devices are allowed during tournament play, provided the conditions stated
in the Local Rule are observed.
6. NATION'S CUP
Eligibility
National Golf Federations may enter one or two teams consisting of two or three male amateurs or
two or three female amateurs each. There is no entry fee.
Format
a) The Nation's Cup is a 36 hole event played in conjunction with the first two rounds of the
Championship.
b) In either category (men & ladies) the two best scores of each day per team count towards the
aggregate total to determine the winning team.
c) In case of a tie after 36 holes, the total of the discarded scores is determining.
d) In case of further ties, the discarded score of the 2nd round and subsequently, the best 36 hole
score are determining.
